Liverpool FC has officially shown off their brand-new home uniform for the 2024–25 season.
The Reds will wear this kit for the first time next season under new boss Arne Slot. It will be worn for Jurgen Klopp’s farewell game on May 19 against Wolves, which is the last home game of the season.
The kit is said to be based on the style that won the European Cup in 1984 (see below). Liverpool FC say this about their old kit design: “The chrome yellow pattern of the club’s YNWA motto is etched into the fabric of the shirt.”
“The jersey has a special collar with traditional yellow and red details that pays homage to the famous collar that the 1984 team wore.” The sides of both the shirt and the shorts are yellow and white.
The 97 emblem surrounded by the eternal flames sits proudly at the nape of the neck on the back of the shirt to honour the people who were wrongfully killed in the Hillsborough disaster.
You can pre-order the new kit starting today on LFC’s official online store, in official LFC shops (in the UK and around the world), and through the LFC Retail App. You will get it on May 16, which is the day it comes out.
As for the new kit, Captain Virgil van Dijk says, “I like the.” The phrase “You’ll Never Walk Alone” on the kit is very special; it shows how the club lives and what they stand for.
All registered LFC members and season ticket holders will get a 10% discount on the home shirt, just like they did last year. Important workers in the UK can get to this through Blue Light and Network, while students can use Student Beans.
