In a surprising twist,聽Prince Harry聽is reportedly feeling bored and nostalgic for his homeland, as his friends across the pond find his wife聽Meghan Markle聽difficult to deal with.
Royal expert聽Tom Quinn聽recently revealed to聽The Mirror聽that聽Harry聽is聽“increasingly bored”聽and misses his old life in the UK.聽“Harry is looking back across the Atlantic where most of his army and school friends still live,”聽Quinn聽said.聽“He never sees them because they won’t visit him in the States due to their aversion to Meghan.”
Currently residing in Montecito, California, with聽Meghan, 42, and their children聽Prince Archie, 5, and聽Princess Lilibet, 3,聽Harry’s聽social life has seemingly taken a hit.
His longtime friend聽Hugh Grosvenor, who is聽Archie’s聽godfather, recently got married in England. However,聽Harry聽and聽Meghan聽were noticeably absent from the celebrations, reportedly to avoid聽“disturbing everybody”聽at the event.
Adding to the drama,聽Harry’s聽estranged brother聽Prince William聽served as an usher at聽Grosvenor’s聽wedding, highlighting the growing rift between聽Harry聽and his old friends.
Harry has reinvented himself
The last time聽Harry聽was in England was in May for the 10th anniversary of the聽Invictus Games, but he didn’t reconnect with his friends.聽“They are a part of the old pre-Meghan world that Harry hates to revisit,”聽Quinn聽claimed.
Quinn聽also mentioned that Harry’s friends feel聽“betrayed”聽by the way he detailed his military service in his bombshell memoir聽“Spare.”聽They reportedly don’t like聽Meghan聽and blame her for turning Harry into聽“Harry the Hippy.”
“The truth is that Harry has reinvented himself in a way that just doesn’t work for his family or for friends from the past when he was a very different character,”聽Quinn聽added.
Earlier this year,聽Harry聽renounced his British residency and officially declared the United States as his home, moving out of聽Frogmore Cottage, their last UK residence.

Despite this, rumors are swirling that Harry is looking a聽to buy a new property in the UK.聽King Charles’聽former butler,聽Grant Harrold, told The Post that聽Harry聽has been eyeing properties in his homeland.聽“It’s something that he’s wanted and been thinking about. Now he’s probably made the decision that’s what he wants,”聽Harrold聽said.
Meanwhile,聽Meghan聽reportedly feels聽“rejected”聽by the UK and is focused on building her career in Hollywood. With聽Harry’s聽yearning for his old friends and聽Meghan’s聽ambitions in the US, it seems the couple is navigating a challenging crossroad between their past and future lives.
