Louis Tomlinson is reportedly back in contact with his on/off girlfriend of five-years Eleanor Calder following their January 2023 split.
The One Direction singer, 32, enjoyed a brief romance with Danish model Sofie Nyvang last February, but is now said to have now been ‘drawn back’ to his ex.
Eleanor, who also works as a model, and Louis have endured an on/off relationship from the early stages of his career in 2011, but announced their temporary split in March 2015 only to rekindle things two years later.
A source told The Mirror: ‘Louis and Eleanor have a long history together, and those ties run really deep for them both. They didn’t talk for a long time after their split, and with Louis dating Sofie, but now they’ve been speaking again.
Before adding: ‘Whatever happens, they always seem to be drawn back towards each other.’

During the couple’s split, the Miss You hitmaker became a father to son Freddie Reign, seven, after a brief fling with stylist Briana Jungwirth, 31.
Louis introduced son Freddie to fans on Instagram shortly after his birth, but has kept him out of the spotlight in recent times, while Briana has shared glimpses of him on Instagram.
Eleanor and Louis reunited in January 2017, shortly after the tragic death of his mother Johannah Deakin aged 43.
Back in 2020, the singer even spoke of his plans to marry the model after previously ‘f***ing things up’.
Addressing engagement rumours at the time, he said: ‘Yeah I saw some of that [engagement rumours]. It isn’t true, but the luxury with Eleanor is I’ve known her since before our first single What Makes You Beautiful, so she’s felt the whole growth of everything.’
Quizzed about marriage he added: ‘One day, yeah, I’d imagine so. If you’re asking me if I’m going to marry her? Yes, I think so! And more kids, I’d say so.’
Talking to The Sun, Louis admitted he has ‘f***ed things up’ plenty of times in the past but hopes to have learnt from his mistakes.
Louis said of his song Walls: ‘It’s a bit of, “Oh no, I’ve f***ed it up, yeah. But I’ve understood that now and I’ve come back stronger”.

The news comes after Loui’s little sister Phoebe welcomed her first child with her footballer boyfriend Jack Varley.
The influencer, 19, announced the happy news on Instagram on Thursday.
She confirmed her daughter’s name is Olive Johannah Varley and shared that she and Jack, 26, had welcomed their baby girl on Wednesday.
Olive’s middle name, Johannah, is a poignant tribute to Phoebe’s late mother Johannah Deakin.

The Tomlinson family tragically lost their mother Johannah in December 2016 aged 43, following a battle with leukemia.
