While Somy Ali didn’t took Sonu Nigam’s name in the video, she tagged him in the caption

Salman Khan’s former girlfriend Somy Ali has slammed veteran singer Sonu Nigam and accused him of using her talk show to get back to her ex-boyfriend. While she didn’t took Sonu’s name in the video, Somy tagged him in the caption.

“This is what people are and how they take advantage of you. @sonunigamofficial Then he makes videos of others who treated him poorly. I am shell shocked and would be an understatement. I had the utmost respect for this person. Judge a book by its cover People!” Somy wrote.

In the video, Somy alleged that Sonu used her talk show against her ex and said, “I realized the only reason he came on the show was to prove to that gentleman that, ‘Look, I’m on your ex’s show’. Once that chapter closed when I tried to offer him an opportunity…he refused to communicate with me, I tried three times, I wasn’t gaining anything out of it… I left voice notes in Hindi, Urdu, English, any language I know, but this person refused to communicate with me.”

Calling him a chameleon, she added, “The person whom you used to respect, honour, you put on a pedestal, think that he is such a good person, who said such nice things in the interview, the person all of a sudden is a chameleon, jo bilkul rang badal dete hai (who change colours).”

In a recent conversation, Ali revealed how Salman and Aish fell in love with each other during SLB’s directorial. “The shoot (Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam) was going on when I called up Salman but he didn’t pick up. Then I called Sanjay Leela Bhansali and he said, ‘He can’t speak to you right now because he’s in a shot’. I was like ‘If he’s in a shot, why aren’t you directing it? Why are you picking up my phone call?’ The logic defied me. He was cornered by me and didn’t know what to say,” said Somy while talking to Times Now.
